The program which is given is in Bahçelievler/Ankara. It is a group work that consists of 3+3 people. Also, the scheme is given 6 blocks next to each other and is placed half of the site. Because of the blocks' location, the inner part of the block can not reach sunlight. To solve this problem, firstly we shifted inner blocks so that we can create more façade. Secondly, we create a CRACK inside the blocks and, blocks can get sunlight from inside the crack. Also, this crack creates a shortcut for people who already have on the site. Also, we want to increase the permeability of our project so that we elevated 2 blocks for 1 level and we create 2 porosity lines. Also, these lines create a focus on the green area.

In the observation at the site, we realize that in the Bahçelievler area, there are so many commercial spaces on the ground level. This creates a kind of isolation between commercial and accommodation units. In this manner, we wanted to approach design problem from a different perspective and we proposed social spaces at different levels. This configuration creates a hybrid living between accommodation and commercial units.

Also, in the CRACK, we have communal green areas for people living in the blocks. We create semi-open terraces by connecting to 2 blocks on the crack façade and plant space. As a result, we achieve a kind of green street in the city.

Also, our activities are hybrid activities and they are shared by 2 individual projects. All hybrid activities are flowing to each other. Activities start to ground floor with... and end with a cafe-library-bookstore hybrid on the 3rd floor. And, people have easy access to the city from the library with the staircase which is attached to the last block and, serves only the public places.

On the overall design, I placed wet spaces generally top of each other and next to load-bearing walls. Slabs are being carried by the reinforced concrete curtain walls and all load-bearing walls are placed horizontally to emphasize the strip scheme of the blocks.

I design the south corner block on the project. I use accommodation units both ground and the upper level and the hybrid space on the 2nd&3rd levels. On the ground floor, to decrease the connection between the users and the people walking on the street, I draw back the block from the street.

The west of my block, I have one accommodation unit. It is a duplex house and the dwellers are one family with 2 children and 2 students so I designed the house related to that. The entrance of the house is from porosity line and, the kitchen and living room are shared with family and students on the ground floor and also the upper floor is for family. And on the 2nd&3rd floor, I have cafe-library-bookstore hybrid space which is shared with the next block. One of the entrances of the space is from the next block and the other is from the public staircase.

The east of my block, I have 1 duplex and 2 one floor houses. There are 8 people living in totally. 2 of them are living on the ground floor, one flat house. They have a garden on one side and a balcony on the other side of the house. On the 1st&2nd floor, I have a duplex house that is shared by students. Their study area is on the 1st floor and has a gallery space and they have a balcony on the 2nd floor. On the 3rd floor also 2 students are living.
