A Performative Space for Imaginations in Flux - An Experimental Avant-Garde Theatre in Phocaea
Concept Design, FLUX-HALLBOX: Metaphor of Imaginations in Flux Concept design is the initial stage of the design idea. It does not have a one-to-one relationship with the main design but it is an abstract representation of the idea. In this study, we created a hallbox that represents the theatre space abstractly. We are expected to interpret the metaphor* of imagination in flux referring to one of our own theatrical performance experiences as an audience. Beginning of the study the box was a black wooden box; however, because of the pandemic and quarantine, I have to complete it from home and turn to use digital tools. * Metaphor is a figurative expression that refers to something although meaning or mentioning another.
