Phase2.
.
In these phase, you are required to create an abstract mapping of your image cardboard by using lines.
To do this, follow the steps:
- First overlay an A3 translucent paper on your printed photograph
- Analyze the tonal range of your photograph; identfy and mark the areas with: (a) similar tonal values and/or (b) gradient tonal change.
- Start rendering these identfied areas. For this, you are required to use lines. The lines should drawn with a permanent acetate pen. To express the tonal difference between areas, you need to vary (change) the ticness, density (the distance between lines), or orientation of the lines. For this, you need to benefit from the different line thicnesses of the pen.
- When finished, attach the translucent paper onto the A3 cardboard.
- Submit both original A3 printed image and the A3 abstract map.
